Our Results
Women Plan Rwanda measures its impact through a multidimensional framework that tracks economic, social, health, and leadership outcomes.
4+ YEARS OF SIGNIFICANT IMPACT
Women Plan Rwanda has made a transformative impact in rural communities by empowering women, girls, youth, and families to become self-reliant and active participants in sustainable development. Through programs in economic empowerment, education, reproductive health, and leadership training, the organization has helped thousands of rural women increase their household incomes, start small businesses, and access microfinance opportunities. Girls and young women supported by the organization have returned to school, gained vocational skills, and become peer educators in their communities. Women Plan Rwanda’s initiatives have also improved access to maternal health services, reduced gender-based violence, and promoted the inclusion of women in local decision-making processes. By fostering community-led change and strengthening local capacity, the organization has contributed to more equitable, resilient, and self-sustaining rural communities across Rwanda.
